Purios PU Floor PRO TOP COAT is a water-based, two-component aliphatic polyurethane top coat designed for professional surface protection in demanding conditions. It creates a transparent finish that increases the substrate’s resistance to abrasion, scratches and chemicals. Thanks to its UV resistance, the surface does not yellow and maintains its aesthetic appearance for a long time.
The coating forms a flexible, seamless layer resistant to discoloration and easy to maintain. The product can be used both indoors and outdoors, including in areas exposed to intensive use and weather conditions.
Polyurethane top coat is used as a protective and sealing layer for resin floors, including epoxy and polyurethane systems, as well as microcement and wooden flooring. The product can be applied both indoors and outdoors — in industrial, commercial and residential buildings.
Purios PU Floor PRO TOP COAT is available in a MATT version, providing a matte finish. This creates a natural and modern visual effect while reducing light reflections and enhancing the aesthetics of the surface.
The water-based formula ensures safe use and comfortable application. The coating is free from solvents and formaldehyde and meets requirements regarding hazardous substance emissions. Its good flow properties and excellent adhesion allow for an aesthetic and durable surface finish.
Purios PU Floor PRO TOP COAT is available in a 5 kg set consisting of Component A and the hardener — Component B. The average consumption is approximately 150–170 g/m² for a coating thickness of up to 0.5 mm. Full curing is achieved after seven days.
The product is intended for application on a properly prepared, dry, and stable substrate free from dust and loose particles. Before applying the TOP COAT, it is recommended to sand the resin floor with 180-grit sandpaper, then clean and degrease the surface.
The coating is applied using a roller and the pot life after mixing is up to 30 minutes at 20°C.
