Would you like to introduce changes to a ready-made design purchased from our website?
Do you have a ready-made design from another source and want to adapt it to the modern Purios foam insulation?
Do you plan on changing the size of your house or the layout of rooms in a ready-made design?
We offer our help and expertise in every situation.
Architects working with us adapt ready-made designs according to your requirements.
A home of your own is usually the most important investment of your life. It is important that your house meets not only legal standards, but also your expectations and dreams. Before you start building, make sure that your design meets your family’s ideas about their own home. If not, get in touch with us – we are also in the business of customising designs to our clients’ expectations.
While there are different materials for insulating buildings, the PUR foam is one of the most effective and therefore a thinner layer of insulation is used on walls, floors and other building partitions.
A ready-made design is based on popular solutions that have proven themselves time and again. However, your expectations or your family’s, for that matter, may differ from common standards.
Both its dimensions and shape can cause the construction of your house to necessitate changes to the design.
If designs of small houses do not live up to expectations and ideal buildings are too large, then the best solution may be intervening in the design to reduce construction costs.
According to law, new houses must meet certain standards for fossil fuel energy consumption. A better wall insulation material means a thinner layer while maintaining the required properties. Conversely, a smaller wall thickness means different sill lengths and framing dimensions of windows and doors.
The standard position of windows is 90 cm above the floor. Using the Purios insulation systems on the floor can lower it, thereby increasing the distance between the floor and the window sills. This should be taken into account when correcting the design.
If the design of the house involved insulating the floor with traditional materials, the distance between the floor and electrical sockets, switches and other permanently installed components in the wall is likely to increase after using the PUR foam. Again, a correction of the design is required.
Thinner walls may be characterised by a different load-bearing capacity. This needs to be checked and therefore the architect must recalculate the values resulting from the revised design.
Thermal bridges are where heat “escapes.” They can also form where building partitions, such as a wall and a ceiling, come together. For thinner partitions, a design is required to be reviewed.
Yes. Any design that is fully compliant with current legislation and current construction knowledge can either be changed or modified multiple times.
Before the construction of your house begins, the design can be amended to any extent. Once the construction has started, the opportunities to introduce changes are fewer, although they still allow considerable interference with the original concept. Any changes must be made and approved by a qualified cubic architect.
This depends on the extent of such changes. For example, changing the thermal insulation material to a better one than provided for in the design does not require a new planning permit, but an additional room that will increase the usable area of the house means a new approval is required. Do you want to know if a change to the design of your house will require a new permit?
It can, indeed. The Purios insulation system is characterised by demonstrably better thermal insulation properties than traditional materials, which is why less of the system is used. And this may cause the thickness of the roof, walls and floors to change.
