What does the Purios Stone Floor DIY set include?

Our DIY stone carpet sets cover 1 m² of surface. For larger areas, multiple sets can be combined. Each set comes in a specially designed bucket containing:

• Natural marble aggregate (12.5 kg)
• Two-component epoxy primer
• Two-component polyurethane resin
• Paint roller
• Protective goggles
• Protective gloves

In addition, the only other tool you need for application is a trowel, which is available in any hardware store.

How to create a stone carpet step by step

Creating a stone carpet with our set is very easy — just follow the step-by-step instructions. This system allows you to achieve a professional-quality stone carpet without hiring a contractor.

1. Surface preparation – the surface must be dry, clean, degreased and level. The best substrates are concrete or a seasoned screed (minimum 28 days).
2. Primer application – mix the two components of the epoxy primer together. Then apply it evenly over the entire surface with a roller. Leave to cure for 24 hours.
3. Aggregate application – pour both components of the polyurethane resin into the bucket with the aggregates. Mix thoroughly, then spread and level the mixture with a trowel to create an 8–10 mm thick layer.

After 7 days, the flooring is fully cured and ready for heavy use. Remember to read the user manual before starting the installation.
