The Purios spray foam attic insulation is a new generation solution. It enables you to maintain comfortable temperatures in the attic all year round. It is durable, robust and safe. It retains all key properties for at least as long as 25 years. It is also a type of thermal insulation that is applied by spraying on site. As a result, it fills every single slot and other hard-to-reach nooks and crannies.
It is a composition of two well-selected components. Once mixed under pressure and heat, foaming takes place. It takes a few seconds for the material to increase in volume by 100+ times.
The polyurethane foam (also known as the PUR foam) is ideally suited to your attic insulation needs. As for timber trusses, the open-cell foam works out well and has a beneficial effect on moisture levels. Insulating the attic with a 14 cm layer of the closed-cell foam keeps the concrete attic comfortable.
Warmth is the most important thing. Approximately 25 cm of the open-cell foam helps retain pleasant warmth in fully boarded attics, which type is among the most popular ones. When it comes to attics with a concrete slope, as little as 14 cm of the closed-cell foam suffices to provide the expected thermal insulation. The Purios foam is also synonymous with at least 25 years of efficiency and peace of mind.

The combination of excellent material, know-how and multiple years of experience has enabled us to create a material with a very favourable thermal conductivity coefficient. Insulating the attic with the Purios foam not only protects against the summer heat, but also maintains the optimum temperature during winter – up to 4°C higher than in the case of traditional materials.
One of the greatest threats to a timber roof structure is airborne moisture. Its main sources are natural humidity and precipitation. Water can penetrate the structure of the roof trusses and then initiate a rotting process leading to damage. The diffusion-open cell foam helps regulate the degree of moisture saturation in the wood, which is of great importance for the safety of the residents and their comfort.
The Purios open-cell foam is a lightweight and neutral material for the roof structure, while closed-cell foam is robust and resistant to many a mechanical factor. Both our research and observation confirm that the Purios system solutions retain their shape and volume for at least as long as 25 years. This also applies to the thermal insulation properties and the reaction to fire class.
The reaction of a thermal insulation material to fire is one of its most important properties. This is why our solutions are repeatedly subjected to various flammability tests. Thanks to the tests we do know that our spray insulation systems are usually classified as self-extinguishing. Additionally, yet another important feature is investigated during the tests, namely the burning particles. Our solutions receive excellent ratings in both categories, which is of fundamental importance when it comes to the attic.
The polyurethane foam is completely changing the market for thermal insulation materials, displacing and replacing traditional ones. It is applied on site as a mixture of two liquid components. Thanks to the way it is applied:
The two materials are characterised by distinct differences. The open-cell system is ideal for insulating an attic with timber trusses. It is a lightweight foam with very good thermal insulation properties and open diffusion. Both features are very important for maintaining the comfort and safety of the residents.
The closed-cell system creates a rigid foam with higher density and very high mechanical strength. This is why it is so often used for attics made of a material other than wood, for instance reinforced concrete.
It is worth checking both the properties of the material and the approvals and certificates issued by independent testing institutions.
Our company is a Polish manufacturer of polyester polyols, which are used to create the Purios insulation systems. This enables us to guarantee you the superior quality of our products and work. When you go for the Purios foam, you get triple the quality.
We are a fast-growing European construction company with almost 20 years of experience. Our knowledge, which we have acquired throughout the years, has helped us to create the top quality standards in our industry. In addition to our foam, the Purios’ certified foam application specialists also have quality certificates. We ensure the superior quality of their training.
The PUR insulation systems are of key importance in our pursuit of the carbon efficiency of buildings, both in their production phase and during their long-term use. The Purios products are distinguished by their excellent insulation properties, which significantly reduces the energy demand of buildings and the carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions associated with their heating and cooling. They also contribute to the decarbonisation of the construction industry, therefore reducing CO₂ emissions at the material production and delivery stages, as well as affecting reduced thermal energy consumption over the life cycle of a building.
Among the many characteristics of thermal insulation materials, the most important ones are thermal insulation efficiency, fire resistance and mechanical resistance. That being said, of all the solutions, only the polyurethane foam ensures the durability of the said features. We do believe in the quality of our polyurethane systems, which is why we provide the certificate of the stability of these parameters for at least 25 years for all our systems.

This is a very important issue related to both comfort and heating bills. Traditional materials placed between wooden beams behave according to the laws of physics: they settle and move. Slipping of insulation suspended from strings is a common occurrence. Be that as it may, this does not apply to the Purios systems, which adhere permanently to the substrate while spraying. Studies have also shown that, even after 25 years, the polyurethane foam retains its volume, in other words it does not settle.
Experiences with other home insulation materials show that their impact on health has to be considered in three situations: during the application of the materials, in hot weather and through normal use. While many traditional materials have proven to display pathogenic effects, the PUR foam is completely health-neutral and non-toxic.
Thanks to using the specialised spray equipment operated by certified application specialists, it takes only 1 day to insulate up to 220 m2 of surface. This is up to 14 times faster than is the case with other materials.
Pricing is affected by several key factors, including the size of the area, the type of partition to be insulated, the type of Purios system, the preparatory work and the additional work requisite to complete the work properly. Therefore, we would like to invite you to contact us so that we can prepare an accurate quote.
