Polyurethane flooring

Polyurethane flooring is a modern, versatile and extremely durable flooring solution that, thanks to its flexibility, performs well both indoors and outdoors. It is the perfect choice for those looking for a seamless floor that combines durability, user comfort and an attractive appearance. It works excellently in homes, offices, shops and also on balconies and terraces.

What is polyurethane flooring?

Polyurethane flooring is a modern, two-component coating made from a combination of polyurethane resin and a hardener. If you are considering a resin floor for your project, take a closer look at our Purios PU Floor polyurethane coating. The system is available in a wide range of colors, allowing it to be perfectly matched to the character of the interior or the architectural design concept. We offer two types of resins:

  • aliphatic – resistant to UV radiation
  • aromatic – recommended for indoor use where exposure to sunlight is limited

Although polyurethane flooring is sometimes compared to epoxy, it stands out for its greater flexibility. It is slightly elastic, pleasant to the touch and more resistant to scratches. This makes it ideal for places where not only durability but also design and everyday comfort matter.

Why choose polyurethane flooring Purios PU Floor?

Purios PU Floor polyurethane flooring systems are designed for those who expect durability, modern aesthetics and everyday comfort. What makes Purios polyurethane flooring the right choice?

Flexibility and scratch resistance

Polyurethane resin is known for its high flexibility, effectively reducing noise in a room and minimizing the visibility of minor scratches that occur during daily use.

High UV resistance

Polyurethane floors made with aliphatic resin do not yellow or lose their color when exposed to sunlight. This makes them an ideal choice for spaces with large windows or for outdoor use.

Comfort and safety

Polyurethane flooring is pleasant to the touch, enhancing everyday comfort. Its surface is non-slip, making it suitable for homes, offices and public spaces.

Easy cleaning and high hygiene

The smooth, non-porous surface does not absorb dirt and is exceptionally easy to maintain. The absence of joints and seams means fewer places for dirt to accumulate.

Durability for years

Polyurethane floors are resistant to abrasion, impacts and heavy use. They do not crack or crumble, maintaining a flawless appearance over time.

Modern appearance and wide color range

We offer a palette of 14 colors – from classic greys to whites, beiges and vibrant shades. This makes it easy to match the flooring to the style of your interior.

Applications of polyurethane flooring

Polyurethane resin flooring is a highly versatile solution – from residential interiors to commercial spaces and even outdoor areas. Thanks to its durability, flexibility and aesthetic appeal, it is becoming increasingly popular in modern construction. It is also being chosen more often in home renovations, replacing traditional tiles or panels.

Polyurethane resin for balconies and terraces is resistant to weather conditions, UV radiation and temperature fluctuations, while its flexibility prevents cracking. Terraces finished with it combine durability, moisture and abrasion resistance with an elegant appearance.

Although polyurethane resin also handles mechanical loads and contact with chemicals well, an epoxy system is a better choice for garages. Epoxy flooring offers higher resistance to constant wheel pressure, heavy abrasion and demanding daily use. If you are looking for complete garage flooring solutions, check out our Purios Epoxy Floor resin, which is ideal for both residential and industrial applications.

How to install polyurethane flooring?

Installing polyurethane flooring requires proper surface preparation, which must be thoroughly cleaned, degreased and leveled to ensure maximum adhesion. It is also important that the substrate is properly cured – at least 28 days after completion.

A two-component epoxy primer is applied to the prepared surface. The next layer is a two-component polyurethane resin. Once properly mixed, the resin is poured onto the substrate and spread using a notched trowel. Initial curing occurs after about 24 hours, with full strength reached in seven days.

Polyurethane floors are a modern, flexible and extremely durable solution, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Resistant to UV, scratches and moisture, they offer a practical alternative to traditional flooring.

The Purios PU Floor system combines aesthetics with durability, providing a seamless floor for many years.
